Maria Stokholm is educated in The Danish National School of Theater in 1996. As an actress she has a wide range, from drama to comedy both on stage and in films.

Maria Stokholm has appeared in numerous TV-shows from the critically acclaimed comedy Klovn (2005-2018) to the Danish TV Drama Forsvar (2005-2014). As a movie actor Maria debuted as leading actress in the horror comedy Nattens engel (Dir. Shaky Gonzales 1998).
